For a balanced life, all foods, including beverages, should be consumed in moderation. The same is true for sugar, which is a key component of many foods. The majority of the beverages we produce contain sugar, making them caloric products.

Considering our individual differences, the amount of sugar we consume in our daily diet does not have a negative effect on human health. Like all foods and beverages, sugary soft drinks can be a part of a balanced lifestyle as long as they are consumed without excess.

Our members are taking initiatives to reduce the sugar content in the beverages within their portfolios, while also exploring ways to offer low-calorie and calorie-free beverage options. They continue to work on making their products available in smaller packaging and in more markets.
